Windows apparently no longer uses "Scanreg.exe" - now providing "System File Checker" tool (SFC.exe) linked here. Have tried USB on all 3 available headers without success (headers work fine with front audio). On reboot, wifi works perfectly, but bluetooth no longer visible in Device manager and USB error has changed as shown (I am using a new replacement 9 pin connector in case the provided connector was faulty). I then physically uninstalled the device and reinstalled it on a different PCI slot.
No joy even after having Windows update the Bluetooth drivers (again, Bluetooth worked perfectly until reboot). Uninstalled Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and reinstalled with drivers from Gigabyte (thanks for the link).
